This coupling is intended for heavy centre-axle trailers, twin steering axle trailers and dollies fitted with drawbar eyes in accordance with standard SS 550100-2 D57. Thanks to the practical and user-friendly design, you get a reliable and durable coupling with low operating costs. The well-proven attachment package, with its large bearing surfaces, has been adapted for large vertical forces. The difference between the VBG 795VR-3 and 795V-3 is the encapsulated attachment package, which is the choice for those who drive in tougher road conditions, such as forestry, building or construction transport, and have a need for high performance values.

Different operation

Power actuator – for maximum safety and comfort

A coupling with the VBG Power Actuator (PA) is opened and closed by means of a double-acting, pneumatically-controlled torsion device operated by a manual valve, with no need to reach underneath vehicle to access the coupling. This ergonomic solution is the most comfortable, and significantly simplifies coupling and decoupling. It saves you time and reduces the risk of injury.

Air-assisted opening makes things a bit easier

With the Air Mechanism (AM), you get a convenient, space-saving all-in-one solution. The mechanism has a single-acting diaphragm cylinder with a function for opening. A powerful spring is used for closing.

Manual

The coupling is opened by hand and closes by spring force. This version does not require any additional components.

You can always supplement manual coupling with a power actuator (PA unit).

Select a coupling mouth based on your needs

Three versions of the coupling mouth are available, which means the coupling can be modified to meet your needs to an even greater extent. A coupling mouth with long lips, or extended underlip, simplifies coupling and decoupling and enables the driver to work more safely and efficiently.

Short lips make coupling in tight spaces easier.

An extended underlip makes it easier to couple heavy loads, where the drawbar eye ends up below the coupling.

Extended lips provide additional support for the drawbar eye and improved safety when coupling.
